How it works
You decide the relationship. aligned.email carries it forward.
aligned.email works with your existing email account. After your provider applies its spam and security protections, relationships you establish help determine where incoming messages first appear. You still decide what each message means and how to respond.

A separate message check
Suspicious applies to a message, not the relationship.
An individual message can be quarantined in Suspicious for deliberate review without redefining your relationship with its sender. That determination can be corrected when it is wrong.
This check can reduce immediate exposure to potentially harmful messages, but it does not promise complete threat detection.
What placement means
A starting point, not a verdict.
A sender relationship helps determine where a message initially appears. It does not decide what the message means, how important its content is, or what you should do next.
A routine message can come from someone you know. An important message can come from someone new. Placement reduces the work required to begin your review; your judgment still determines how—or whether—you respond.
The tradeoff
One deliberate decision can replace many repeated ones.
Relationship-first organization asks you to make and maintain sender decisions. No organizing model will always match every situation, and relationships can change.
